Last week, a PhD workshop was held with doctoral candidates from Toulouse Management School, Lancaster University Management School and WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management. After the annual workshop took place via Zoom in the past years, PhD students and their professors could finally meet in-person at the WHU campus in Vallendar.
The workshop was divided into four research fields: Accounting & Finance, Strategy, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Human Resources & Organizational Behavior and Marketing. Doctoral students from the three business schools had the opportunity to present and discuss their scientific projects in each of these research areas.
Yannick Endres from the team of the Chair of Leadership presented his current research project on the topic of Technostress. Within this project he plans to submit a Registered Report in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Fabiola H. Gerpott and Roman Briker, Assitant Professor at the University of Maastricht, and Jason Thatcher, Professor at Temple University. The discussion with the guests from Toulouse and Lancaster provided valuable comments that will help Yannick Endres and his co-author:s to improve the study.
The three-day program was rounded off with informal networking events, a guided tour of the city of Koblenz and a joint dinner. Thank you from the Chair of Leadership for the enrichting conversations and food-for-thought!
