Davydov received the award for his Bachelor thesis on the topic "Internationalization Strategy and Location Analysis for an SME". The WHU graduate wrote his thesis at the IHK - Chair for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises and was supervised by Professor Dr. Christina Günther and Research Assistant, Yulia Litvinova.
The IHK Koblenz also gave WHU graduate Laurenz Maximilian Schwarzlose an honorable mention at this year's IHK University Award for Business. Schwarzlose received the award for his master's thesis entitled "The Matching and Integration Process of Refugees: An Analysis by the Example of Northern Rhineland-Palatinate". Professor Dr. Günther accepted the award on behalf of the WHU alumnus.
The IHK Koblenz University of Economics Award annually honors the best theses of universities in the district of the IHK Koblenz, which were written in cooperation with companies from the region. In addition to academic aspirations, the focus is on the practical relevance of the final theses.
