On July 09, 2019, Mr. Jonas Lechermeier successfully completed his PhD project and was awarded the academic degree Doctor Rerum Politicarum (Dr. rer. pol.).
In his dissertation “Essays on the Effects of Selected Performance Feedback Characteristics on Individuals’ Reactions – Learnings from a Literature Review and Empirical Studies”, Mr. Lechermeier showed how performance feedback should be used and communicated for effective feedback provision, setting a special focus on the effects of real-time feedback. His dissertation extends a variety of literature streams and also provides valuable insights for feedback-providing managers, e.g., on how to increase employees’ service performance and engagement.
