An interesting experiment is currently taking place in Munich: The discounter chains Lidl and Penny are testing small-format stores between 300 and 500 square meters located in the city center. The Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung talked with Prof. Dr. Martin Fassnacht about this new concept.
