Today we are pleased to once again host the Omnichannel Bootcamp, our unique management development program for the retail and hospitality industry, co-organized by the dfv Mediengruppe. The event was designed to provide both academic as well as practical knowledge: Professor Dr. Martin Fassnacht kicked off the Bootcamp with his insightful keynote speech on omnichannel marketing. This was followed by the lecture of Professor Dr. Dries Faems (WHU) on how to combine offline exploitation and online exploration. In the afternoon we enjoyed two expert sessions: First, by Jannik Weich and David Kuttschrütter (Founders & CEOs, Weich Couture Alpaca), who provided the participants with a challenging Real-life Case and supervised them during the work for group presentations; Second, by Dominik Salzer (Head of Retail & Wholesale Poland, HUGO BOSS), who highlighted the importance of understanding the customer needs when designing an omnichannel strategy.
