On September 28, we had the great pleasure and honor to welcome Carsten Knobel, the CEO of Henkel for our first on-campus event in a time.

Carsten Knobel gave a hybrid keynote for 50 students in the lecture hall and almost 80 students that joined virtually via Zoom. Right after Henkel’s 145 years anniversary he provided the students with insights on Henkel and the FMCG industry. He also talked about the new purpose statement “Pioneers at Heart for the Good of Generations” and how Henkel manages to go through a huge cultural transformation to meet the challenges ahead.

After the keynote, our students had the opportunity to talk directly to Carsten Knobel at an exclusive get-together with snacks and drinks. Additionally, our WHU Alumni Caroline Klaas and Alina Damm who joined his team after graduation gave the students firsthand insights into working at Henkel. We would like to thank you very much for this great event!
