New IMC Publication in European Accouting Review

Jürgen Weber, Stefanie Malz (both IMC) and their co-author study the role of management controls (MCs) in mediating and stimulating creative processes.

“The Role of Management Controls in New Product Development: Codifying a Collective Source of Creativity” jointly written by Professor Emeritus Jürgen Weber (Institute of Management Accounting and Control (IMC) of WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management), Dr. Stefanie Malz (former doctoral student at the IMC), and Professor Erik Strauß (Witten/Herdecke University) has been published online in “European Accounting Review”. The paper contributes to the understanding of the role of Management Controls (MCs) in mediating and stimulating creative processes.
