Another interview by Prof. Fassnacht about GKK in Handelsblatt

Back at the beginning of 2021, the German government gave the struggling department store group Galeria Karstadt Kaufhof (GKK) a financial injection for the 1st time. Even at this point in time, there were critical voices and experts were not sure whether this intervention would pay off.
Professor Fassnacht, a Marketing Expert and the holder of the Chair of Strategy and Marketing at the WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management, was also skeptical about the situation at the time.
