Dr. Nils Daecke and Waleed Khan present a case study on price management for digital innovations

Digital innovations are becoming increasingly important in the consumer goods industry. As a result, Henkel dx bundles all business activities related to digital, business process management and IT to meet the challenges of the digital age. At the beginning of February 2021, we welcomed Dr. Nils Daecke (Digital Information Officer & Corporate Vice President) and Waleed Khan (Senior IoT & Digital Innovation Manager, Henkel dx) to our master course "B2C Price Management". In their keynote presentation, the speakers gave a brief overview of current challenges at Henkel dx and presented the SalonLab Case Study. The SalonLab Smart Analyzer can measure hair condition and passes on recommendations for the best possible hair treatment to the hairdresser.

The students then had two weeks to analyze the SalonLab business model and derive suitable actions for Henkel. The results were presented at the end of the working period and then discussed with the company representatives.
