International price management is often considered as the most complex and critical issue in international marketing. On Friday, February 12th, we welcomed Björn Dahmen (Partner at Simon, Kucher & Partners) in our master course "B2C Price Management". In his guest lecture, Björn Dahmen gave a brief overview about the typical challenges of international pricing. Using two examples, he explained how international dealers like Amazon and international buying groups like Eurolec are currently changing the international pricing rules. Finally, he elaborated on how to manage international pricing and showed some key elements which companies must optimize.
