Another chapter about extraordinary experiences for the students in the MBA program and Prof. Fassnacht succesfully completed. After a long break based on COVID-19, the WHU students were finally able to get to know other countries and their universities again with this year´s destination being Dubai. In addition to the interesting insights into the complex and dynamic economy of the United Arab Emirates, the MBA students also learned more about the entire social, cultural, and political life. Shortly after their arrival, the MBA students started with great interest and commitment into their first event,a visit to the innovative Dubai EXPO 2022. True to the Expo motto: "Connecting Minds and Creating the Future", they got to know the partner University Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government (MBRSG) and participated in insightful lectures and workshops, like Cultural and Global Governance, Crisis Management in International Business, Social Entrepreneurship followed by Global Policies. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the professors Melodena Stephans, Dr. Immanuel Azaad Moonesar, Dr. Mona EL-Shokamy and Dr. Scott Fargher for their commitment and the interesting perspectives.
With so many activities, fun and relaxation may not be missing, and the trip was rounded off with exciting events such as a desert safari and a Dubai city tour.
