Summer Team Day 2021

The Chair of Leadership after a successful round of mini golf

After a long COVID-19 lockdown and a rather cold and rainy spring, the entire team was looking forward to our annual team day. Finally we were able to do something together again! For this year's activity, we decided to explore the black light mini golf course near the WHU campus in Düsseldorf. We played as a team and tried to master the 18 holes with as few swings as possible. Everyone was glowing in the dark: not only our white shoes and shirts, but also the white FFP2 masks!

As was the case with many companies, working from home was the norm for us over the last year. We tested new software tools, adapted structures and developed routines in various formats such as scientific conferences, teaching events and team meetings. We have found that much can now be done virtually. Overall, remote work has proven to be a success!

However, some things are definitely better in real life - including our team day. For the upcoming semester, we hope to welcome many students on campus in-person. Until then, stay healthy!
