The 2019 Global MBA Ranking sees WHU reach prestigious position as #1 amongst the German business schools

While improving by 23 places worldwide is reason enough to celebrate, the MBA program has achieved the #1 position amongst German business schools in the 2019 Global MBA Ranking from the Financial Times. The program scored extremely well in the areas related to internationality, with a massive 86% of students leaving their home countries and choosing to complete their MBA at the WHU campus in Düsseldorf. "At WHU, a world view characterized by diversity, internationality and open-mindedness is very important to us," explains Prof. Dr. Markus Rudolf, Dean of WHU.

Students benefit greatly from the international learning environment, including “the excellent teaching and the excellent network at WHU”. Even after completing the MBA program, the high level of internationality of the WHU program is evident: in the "International Mobility" category. This particular category measures how international graduates enter employment after completing their studies, where WHU ranks an impressive 21st worldwide.

The Financial Times Ranking also focuses on impactful and current sustainability topics such as ethical, social, and environmental issues. The category “Corporate Social Responsibility” measures these particular focus points in the teaching of each school, with WHU taking 18th place worldwide.

Each year, the Financial Times MBA Ranking rates the top 100 MBA programs in the world. The ranking consists of several categories, including student satisfaction, career and salary development after graduation, as well as student and faculty diversity.
