On September 7, Dr. Steffen Löv, Program Director, and Professor Peter Witt, Academic Director, welcomed 19 female and 21 male students to WHU Campus Vallendar for the start of the Part-Time Master in Management Program. During their first module, the new students got to know each other not only through lectures and interactive group work, but also during networking activities in the evenings such as the welcome dinner in the charming old town of Koblenz.
The Part-Time Master in Management Program is designed for candidates who start their professional career right after completing their Bachelor's degree but at the same time want to continue their academic education. With its flexible program structure, the Part-Time Master in Management can be fully integrated into daily work life. The 17-month program includes eight core modules and an international capstone module. On four days per month, from Thursday to Sunday, students meet in person, either on Campus Vallendar or on Campus Düsseldorf. This particular structure allows the students to study part-time without having to interrupt their professional career and lets them apply the knowledge and ideas gained during the on-campus sessions directly to their jobs. A one-week capstone module abroad completes the coursework.
The English-taught program includes courses such as General Management & Economics and Advanced Controlling, but also Managing the Human Side of Organizations. In addition, guest lectures and discussions with speakers from a wide range of business sectors offer students the chance to network and exchange ideas with experts and business leaders.
