Two graduates of WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management have made it onto Forbes Magazine's "30 Under 30" lists this year. Phillip Eischet (photo), Co-Founder and Managing Director of RightNow, made the current "30 Under 30" list of the German edition. Gian Marco Brizzolara, Bachelor Class of 2016, is now working for the Monetization Office of "Bytedance" and is listed on the Chinese Forbes list.
WHU alumnus Phillip Eischet is co-founder of the now very successful online portal RightNow. The platform buys legal claims of flight cancellations or train delays and usually reimburses the customers who bought them within 24 hours. Phillip Eischet has lived the life of an entrepreneur from when he was very young. At the age of 15, he had already built his first Internet company which he sold just shortly thereafter. RightNow has the potential to become one of the few tech champions from Germany, which is why Phillip Eischet was voted into the 30 Under 30.
Gian Marco Brizzolara was elected for the Chinese 30 Under 30 list in the category "Advertising" for his work in the internet technology company "Bytedance" – as only one of two non-Chinese citizens. The Group is best known in Europe for its video platform "TikTok". At the age of 26, the innovative WHU graduate is not only successful in advertising Bytedance’s products, but additionally runs the “Chinatechblog” portal.
Every year, the Forbes "30 Under 30" lists present the 30 most influential and promising young people under the age of 30. They are chosen from thousands of proposals by a jury of experts who evaluate their unique potential. The editions of the Forbes Magazine list young talents in a variety of categories, including start-up founders, entrepreneurs, venture capital investors, activists, but also stars of the sports and e-sports scene.
