Returning to campus Vallendar, dozens of WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management alumni celebrated their Homecoming 2021 in September. The joy in the former students’ eyes was clear to see when they laid eyes upon their former business school and met up with their fellow alumni. Whether it be while taking a walk through the campus or collectively enjoying a glass of wine, there was a constant chance to share memories and discuss future projects. This was the Homecoming anniversary year of the cohorts of 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005, 2010, and 2015. The WHU and In Praxi jointly invited the jubilee classes of 2020 – and this time the whole Homecoming was sponsored by In Praxi.

After the campus update with Prof. Dr. Markus Rudolf, the presentation of the Beisheim Foundation by Dr. Toni Calabretti, and the presentation of the 2021 Diversity Scholarship by Klaudia Wilde in the morning, the alumni gathered at the Burgplatz for a group photo. Afterwards, they enjoyed lunch, coffee, and cake in the sun. This was followed by a rum tasting, a wine tasting, a campus tour, and the opportunity to create a masterpiece at ArtNight. Alumni were also taken on a boat trip on the river Rhine where they enjoyed an outstanding ambience and a phenomenal view on the castles on the bank of the river. To top it all off, alumni joined together with Quitschies and Bachelor students for an evening party in Koblenz (conforming to the current Covid-19 regulations, of course).
