WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management is happy to announce that Dr. Pisitta Vongswasdi has joined the faculty as Assistant Professor for Diversity as of March 1st. She is dedicated to publishing high-quality research articles in leading journals, especially on topics of diversity. Her focus will be on management and economics. Additionally, Dr. Vongswasdi will take up teaching in different degree programs and is determined to contribute to the corporate connections of WHU. Her future research will concentrate on diversity and leadership development.
Pisitta Vongswasdi convinced the appointment committee with her extensive international teaching experience and her high-profile research findings which have already received the attention of two ERIM-STAR journals. Moreover, she has been working as a course designer for MBA programs.
Prior to her appointment as an Assistant Professor, Pisitta Vongswasdi received her bachelor's degree in economics at Chulalongkorn University in Thailand and, after that, her master's degree in sociology at Oxford University. In 2020, she received her doctoral degree from Rotterdam School of Management. Meanwhile, she worked as a visiting scholar at the Darden School of Business at the University of Virgina in 2018.
