WHU again in CHE top group

In this year's CHE University Ranking, WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management once again achieved above-average results and is among the top performers in the categories of “course offerings”, “study organization for study abroad”, and “career orientation”. The students also rated the general study situation, the supervision, and support during studies, as well as the study rooms as very good. In the categories IT infrastructure and academic relevance, WHU achieves scores of 1.1 and 1.3, well above the average of 1.9 and 2.2.

"We are pleased to see our aspiration in teaching and research reflected in the ranking, but, above all, the satisfaction of our students", says Professor Dr. Markus Rudolf, Dean of WHU. In addition to objective data on the study situation, the CHE University Ranking also analyzes and presents subjective assessments by students and teachers. In all categories evaluated by students, WHU ranked in the top group.

The CHE University Ranking, which is published by the weekly German newspaper DIE ZEIT, reevaluates approximately 40 different study subjects at over 300 German and Austrian universities every three years. It is the most extensive university ranking in Germany. For the CHE University Ranking 2020, the subjects Business Administration, Economics, Business Studies, Business Information Technology, Industrial Engineering and Management, Law, Business Law, and Social Work were examined. In contrast to other German and Anglo-Saxon rankings, the CHE University Ranking does not show ranking places but ranking groups, differentiating between a top, middle, and bottom group.
