The Chair warmly congratulates Honorary Professor Dr. Jürgen Ringbeck on his 70th birthday

The Chair of Production Management, led by Professor Dr. Arnd Huchzermeier, warmly congratulates Honorary Professor Dr. Jürgen Ringbeck on his 70th birthday, celebrated on May 3, 2025.

Prof. Ringbeck is an internationally renowned expert in transportation management and strategic transformation. His distinguished career includes global leadership roles at Booz Allen Hamilton / Booz & Company and significant contributions to the sustainable development of the transportation and logistics industry. Today, he serves as a strategic investor, senior advisor, and board member for innovative companies and advocates for climate-friendly aviation as President for Industry and Aviation at aireg (Aviation Initiative for Renewable Energy in Germany e.V.).

Affiliated with WHU since 2012 and appointed honorary professor in early 2014, Prof. Ringbeck has significantly shaped WHU’s academic programs. He has taught the “Transportation Management” course in the Master of Science program since 2012 and has supervised numerous research projects focused on strategy and sustainability.
