Dissertation at the Chair of Digital Marketing

On February 6, 2024, Ms. Béatrice Martin successfully completed her doctorate and was awarded the academic degree Doctor Rerum Politicarum (Dr. rer. pol.).

Social media p2p fundraising refers to a new digital fundraising channel for nonprofit organizations that has already started to generate a large share of nonprofits’ online funds. Ms. Martin examines in her PhD „The power of social media peer-to-peer fundraising”, how to successfully manage this channel from the nonprofit organization’s perspective.

Ms. Martin also presented her research at various conferences and doctoral colloquiums at different universities.
