Dr. Maik Schlickel, Head of Quality Management & Packaging Technology at nobilia-Werke J. Stickling GmbH & Co. KG, gives guest lecture at the Chair of Production Management

After learning the basics of Production and Service Operations Management in recent weeks, the students were now able to benefit from practical experience. 

Mr. Schlickel gave an informative presentation for the students of the three tracks on the topic "Quality made in Germany: Nobilia at a Glance - Insights from an IEA winner” and gave insights into his experiences in the field of process and quality management and industrial excellence. He answered questions about automation, mass customization and internal logistics at nobilia.

Dr. Maik Schlickel holds a doctorate from the Chair of Production Management and wrote his dissertation on “Strategy Deployment in Business Units: Patterns of Operations Strategy Cascading Across Global Sites in a Manufacturing Firm” in 2012. 

He has Experience in automotive supplier, machinery, and furniture industry and is a specialist for process optimization and continuous improvement according the Toyota Production System and Six Sigma.
