Dr. Oliver Höllriegl celebrates his graduation at the Chair of Production Management

Dressed in ceremonial caps and gowns, Oliver Höllriegl and his fellow PhD graduates gathered before faculty members and families at Vallendar’s city hall, proud of having achieved the highest academic degree WHU can confer.

Dr. Höllriegl wrote his dissertation on the topic of “Post-Purchase Behavior Analytics for Customer Centricity” at the Chair of Production Management. Using the latest machine learning methods, he analyzed and refuted standard assumptions about customer behavior and thus had a major impact on the management of marketing budgets at MEDICON Pharmacies.

Mr. Höllriegl is currently working as Team Lead Data & Analytics for Hitachi Solutions and is also writing on 6 articles that are in the publication pipeline.
