Are premium memberships in career networks worthwhile? The benefit depends largely on one's own behavior
Career networks such as Xing, LinkedIn and others operate on the freemium principle. While basic membership is free, paid premium memberships promise to make it much easier to expand one's own network. But can premium memberships actually keep their promise? A recent study analyzes whether these additional offers actually provide added value and how users can benefit more from them. The results show that it all depends on the individual drive.
