New Assistant Professor for Management Accounting and Control

WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management is pleased to welcome Dr. Vera Linke, Assistant Professor in Management Accounting and Control since October 1, 2023. Professor Linke has experience in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate level in several subjects, including management accounting, sociology, and organizational behavior. She impressed the hiring committee with her proposed research projects and the extensive network she has built for herself.   

Before coming to WHU, Professor Linke earned her bachelor’s degree in European studies from the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg and her master’s degree in sociology from Bielefeld University. There, she also successfully completed a doctoral program, with honors, in history and sociology. She later worked as a research assistant at the Department for Management Accounting and Control at Helmut Schmidt University in Hamburg.
