CFOs have until April 18, 2025 to nominate talent from their teams in two categories.
Following the successful debut of the NextGen CFO Awards and the awards ceremony at this year's CFO Summit on June 11, 2024, the CFO Stiftung has opened the nomination period for next year's awards. CFOs have until April 18, 2025 to nominate talent from their teams in two categories. The "Young Talent“ category is open to professionals with four to six years of post-graduate experience. The "Executive" category requires at least twelve years of professional experience and at least five years of management experience. In addition, young top talents from finance departments can now apply independently, provided they receive a letter of recommendation from the CFO. The winners will receive partial scholarships for WHU's part-time MBA and Executive MBA programs.
Matthias Wittkowski (Partner at EQT and member of the Board of Trustees of CFO Stiftung) is looking forward to the second round of awards: “We see it as our mission as a foundation to actively promote diversity in the finance and CFO community through the awards. We look forward to receiving many exciting applications and nominations with diverse profiles.“ Bettina Orlopp (CFO Commerzbank AG and also a member of the Board of Trustees) adds: "As CFOs, it is our job to actively develop the top talent in our teams. The NextGen CFO Awards and the associated scholarships are a great way to do that.
In addition to professional expertise, the multi-stage selection process places particular emphasis on the personal and social skills of the nominees.
