Niclas Popovic, Operations Research Scientist at VYTAL Global, Cologne, gives guest lecture at the Chair of Production Management

After learning the basics of data science and machine learning in recent weeks, the students were now able to gain new perspectives and benefit from practical experience. 

Mr. Popovic gave an informative lecture on “Circular Economy Analytics: Optimizing Assets of a Reusable Packaging System” for the master’s students on 15 October 2024 and gave insights into his experiences and findings from the application of machine learning models for reusable products.

Niclas Popovic is currently working on his doctorate at the Chair of Production Management on the topic of “Circular Economy Analytics: Data-Driven Approaches for Enabling a Sustainable and Efficient Reusable Packaging System”.
