Successful Performance of the Kellogg-WHU Executive MBA Program in the Global Ranking of the Financial Times

Kellogg-WHU program achieves a strong 29th place in a comparison of the world's top 100 EMBA programs—despite increased competition

In the current Executive MBA Ranking 2024 of the renowned Financial Times, WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management reached #29, well above the average of all 100 universities considered. In Germany, the business school, with campuses in Vallendar and Düsseldorf, defended its second-place position, once again successfully holding its own against increasing international competition. 

The assessment of the program by alumni is particularly notable, with overall program participant satisfaction earning 9.48 out of 10 points (2023: 9.21). This high approval rating puts WHU at #15 globally and in the top spot in Germany.

“I am very pleased that we were able to perform so well in a global comparison,” says Professor Jürgen Weigand, Academic Director of the Kellogg-WHU EMBA program. “The detailed ranking results show that all those who opt for an EMBA at WHU can expect an excellent education and significant progress in their career.”

Excellent result in the career progress category

The excellent placement in the EMBA ranking is also due to the very good ratings in terms of career prospectives. According to the Financial Times, WHU scored particularly well in terms of the “work experience” of program participants (#16) and “career progress” after completing the program (#22). The “international course experience” of the Kellogg-WHU EMBA program is also viewed positively; here, the business school ranked #11. WHU's focus on environmental, social and corporate governance issues showed improved regarding sustainability: In the “ESG criteria” category, WHU made the leap to #19 in the international comparison (2023: #49) and to #15 place for “Co2 emissions” (2023: #58).
