Connecting, collaborating, and advancing consumer research in Paris
At the end of September, our doctoral students Annika Hagen and Emily Waltermann had the privilege of attending the annual Association for Consumer Research (ACR) conference in Paris. The ACR is dedicated to advancing the study of consumer behavior, and its conference has become a premier event for scholars from all over the world to come together, exchange ideas, and explore the latest developments and challenges in the field.
For our doctoral students, it was especially invaluable to engage in exchanges during poster sessions, to elevate their own research by receiving insightful feedback from peers, and to follow panel discussions on emerging trends in consumer research, cutting-edge methodologies, and evolving standards within the field. A notable highlight was the focus on sustainable consumer behaviors, showcasing the collective effort of the research community to foster environmentally friendly choices. Of course, networking with fellow researchers over a glass of authentic French wine provided a perfect way to relax and connect.
We are already looking forward to the next conference experience we get to make and extend our gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this such a memorable and rewarding experience!
