WHU Achieves High Marks in QS Ranking

Three study programs at WHU show their might in international ranking

WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management has once again achieved high marks in the most recent edition of the QS World University Ranking, published earlier today for 2023. The rankings evaluate the programs—including Global MBA, Master in Finance, and Master in Management—separately and are based on the input of 10,000 employers, scientists, and universities.

MBA

When it comes to MBA, WHU was able to maintain its global position from last year: Among some 296 MBA programs evaluated worldwide, WHU is currently sitting at #59. The analysis shows that the alumni’s personal investment in the program certainly pays off for them, with WHU at #1 in the “return on investment” category—a six-position leap over last year (#7).

Master in Finance

For the Master in Finance segment, WHU currently ranks #24 overall out of 189 universities analyzed and also scored particularly high in the “alumni outcomes” category (#8). This category determines which universities produce the most successful employers and employees and evaluates how strong an influence the program had on their personal development.

Master in Management

In the Master in Management section, WHU reached #24 globally out of 176, once again shining the brightest in the “alumni outcomes” category (#3). The school also stands tall over many universities when it comes to “value for money” (#9), i.e., how much benefit is generated by investing money into a program.

The annual QS World University Rankings evaluate the programs in five areas: “class & faculty diversity”; “employability”; “entrepreneurship & alumni outcomes”; “return on investment” (i.e., “value for money”); and “thought leadership.” The results of this year’s rankings honor the success of its alumni—and proves the value of the programs on offer.
