If you have not received your Bachelor’s degree yet, it is possible to apply with your current transcript of records. Please include a document that indicates all courses that are not included in the transcript that you are currently taking, or plan to take in the future.

Please note that we only accept applicants who hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with at least 180 ECTS. If you graduated outside of Germany, your university should be listed as “H+” at Anabin, which means that the institution is seen as equivalent to a German institute of higher education.

Candidates can also apply without the TOEFL/IELTS official scores. If you successfully complete the WHU admissions process without your TOEFL/IELTS, you will receive a conditional study offer. This offer will become unconditional upon submitting the required score. Your score must be submitted by May 31, 2024.

You should have at least 12 weeks (480 hours) of practical experience in a business-related role. This can be completed before the beginning of your studies with WHU. This program is only open to candidates with a maximum of two years of post-graduate work experience.

You can submit internship certificates or a letter from HR, which include your name, start and end date, your title, and a short description of your duties and responsibilities. The document should be issued on official company stationery, with a stamp and signature.

International experience

Internationality is a key value at WHU so international experience adds strength to every application. While it is not a mandatory requirement for our Master in Management, we still recommend gaining some form of international experience. As international experience, we consider an internship or study semester abroad, languages courses, a summer school, or equivalent.

Our Master in International Business

If your Bachelor is in a non-business-related field, but you have a passion for leadership and one eye on the global picture, you could be a great fit for our Master in International Business.
