Programs of study at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management have been ranked in three sub-rankings in the recently published QS World University Rankings 2018. The QS Masters in Management Rankings 2018 ranked the Master in Management Program at WHU 15th in the world.
A total of 121 Master in Management programs took part in the selection, which was based on a variety of quality criteria. In a field of 131 ranked programs, the QS Masters in Finance Rankings 2018 ranked the Master in Finance Program at WHU in 20th place. Both Master Programs at WHU were ranked best in Germany. In the QS Global MBA Rankings 2018, the MBA Program at WHU came in 71st place among 232 programs studied worldwide.
Both of the Master Programs at WHU performed particularly well in the “Alumni Outcomes” category. In this category, they each finished in first place worldwide among universities ranked in the survey. “For us, the fact that our graduates are in high demand on the international jobs market confirms the high quality of our Master of Science Programs. In all of our Programs, we place a great deal of emphasis on practical relevance,” WHU Dean, Prof. Dr. Markus Rudolf, explained.
The QS World University Rankings 2018 ranked the Master’s programs under consideration with regard to the categories of “Alumni Outcomes,” “Thought Leadership,” “Diversity,” “Employability” and “Value for Money.” The MBA programs in the survey were ranked in terms of “Entrepreneurship & Alumni Success,” “Thought Leadership,” “Diversity,” “Employability” and “Return on Investment.” This year marks the first time all three of these sub-rankings were conducted. Another edition is scheduled for autumn 2018.
