On April 6th, the spring intake of WHU’s MBA Program started on Campus Düsseldorf.
The new Full-Time MBA Batch is very diverse, not only with regards to their academic and industry backgrounds, but also gender and nationality. 30% of the cohort is female and 86% are international students from 12 different countries in Europe, the US, South America, Africa, the Middle East, South East Asia, India, and China.
In the morning an official introduction to the program took place, where the new students were officially welcomed by Professor Dr. Jürgen Weigand, Deputy Dean, and Gerold Gnau, Program Director MBA. The students were then introduced to the Entrepreneurship Round Table and to the first week of their studies, the “Future Leaders Fundraising Challenge.” The “Future Leaders Fundraising Challenge” is a one-week leadership course at the outset of WHU’s MBA program that is designed to teach leadership through experience, to preview topics covered throughout the MBA program, and instill in students a lasting sense for leaders’ social responsibility beyond their organizations. More information on this can be found here.
We wish all of our new students an enjoybale start to their MBA journey, and are looking forward to following their success over the next 12 months. Welcome to WHU!
