Therefore, we encourage students from various cultural and professional backgrounds to submit their application. We consider all aspects of your application, not just grades or test scores. This holistic approach allows you to bring all aspects of your personality to the admission process and to showcase your unique potential.


    Final application deadline: July 15.

    While we accept applications throughout the year, we recommend that you apply as early as possible, since we only offer a limited number of study places.

    We do not require any appliccation fees.

    Please note our early bird deadlines for reduced tuition fees.

    1. Application Documents

      Please complete the online application form and submit these together with scanned copies of all required documents. All application documents must be submitted in English or German. If your documents are written in another language, please include translations. Please also review the admission requirements below.

    2. Admission Interview
      Upon review of your submitted application documents by the admissions committee, we will invite you for an interview. Interviews are conducted by MBA faculty, staff, and alumni, and usually take place either via telephone or in person.

    3. Admission Decision
      The admissions committee will make a final decision within two weeks of the interview.
    • An undergraduate degree (Bachelor or equivalent)
    • Two years postgraduate work experience minimum
    • Completed online application form
      Fill out your application using the online portal
    • One letter of recommendation, written by a professor or supervisor
      Please ask the person who writes the letter of recommendation to submit it via their business account to mba(at)whu.edu

    • GMAT / GMAT Focus score or equivalent GRE (dependent on previous experience - contact us for further details)
      The WHU GMAT recipient code is FBR-FH-02, the WHU GRE recipient code is 7175. GMAT scores are valid for five years
    • TOEFL score: minimum 100 IBT or IELTS: minimum 7.0. Exception: English is your native language.
