WHU ranked 4th among German universities
In its just-released ranking of business schools and universities, the German business magazine WirtschaftsWoche ranked WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management fourth in Germany in the field of business management. Once again, WHU is the top-ranked private business school in Germany.
“At WHU, we maintain close ties with the business world and cultivate intensive contact with numerous partners in business. This excellent result encourages us to continue to pair excellence in research and teaching with a high degree of practical relevance and a focus on international orientation,” said Professor Dr. Markus Rudolf, Dean of WHU.
For WirtschaftsWoche’s published annual rankings, personnel managers across the country evaluate the German business school landscape. This year, more than 500 HR mangers were asked from which universities and business schools they prefer to recruit graduates and which qualities they look for in schools and study programs in particular. “This result is especially rewarding for the school because WHU has far fewer graduates in comparison to the large state universities”, said Rudolf. As a result, less extensive company recruiting (in terms of numbers) takes place at WHU.
