On April 1, 2019, Professor Dr. Fabiola Gerpott joined the faculty of WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management. She has been appointed as Professor for Management with a specific focus on Leadership on Campus Düsseldorf.

Professor Dr. Gerpott has taught Organizational Behavior at the Technische Universität Berlin and Organizational Psychology/Leadership at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
Professor Dr. Gerpott completed her Bachelor's degree in Business Psychology at Ruhr University Bochum. In her Master's degree, she specialized in Corporate Management & Economics at Zeppelin University. Afterward, she did her Ph.D. in Business Administration at Jacobs University Bremen and in Organizational Psychology at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam on "Learning and Leadership in Organizations: A Group Process Perspective." She has been associated research fellow at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam since October 2018, and visiting scholar in the CEPAR Program “Population Ageing Research” in Australia, since July 2018.
Professor Dr. Fabiola Gerpott focuses her research on corporate management and modern leadership concepts. She greatly appreciates the combination of research and practice, which is why she worked full-time at Daimler AG during her doctorate and was responsible for the development and implementation of an executive training course regarding the demographic change. Her research work has appeared in leading international journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, the Journal of Personality & Social Psychology and The Leadership Quarterly as well as application-oriented journals such as Harvard Business Manager.
