In the recently published U-Multirank Ranking 2019, WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management again achieves excellent results. In this year's U-Multirank Ranking, WHU received the highest score in a total of 14 subcategories. In an annual ranking, U-Multirank compares over 1,700 universities from 96 countries worldwide in five core categories: Teaching and Learning, Research, Knowledge Transfer, International Orientation, and Regional Orientation.
"The fact that we were again able to achieve excellent results in the categories "Teaching and Learning" and "International Orientation" is the result of the continuous optimization of our study programs and the internationality we live by," explains Professor Dr. Markus Rudolf, Dean of WHU. "These outstanding ranking results confirm our strategy."
One of the factors contributing to the excellent results is that almost all WHU students complete their Bachelor's and Master's degree programs within the standard period of study. In the spirit of internationalization, WHU relies, among other things, on exchange programs to provide students with the opportunity for further cultural education. The number of international faculty members has also increased once again compared to the previous year.
WHU also achieves excellent results in the "Research" area, where the number of scientific publications has again increased. In the "Graduate Companies" category, WHU also received the highest score thanks to the numerous successful start-ups of its alumni. WHU promotes the founding efforts of its students through numerous innovative study programs, as well as two specialized Chairs of Entrepreneurship. Since 2017, WHU has also been offering the first Master of Science in Entrepreneurship in Germany.
