WHU Euromasters – Origin of Spirit

Once again, the students of WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management brought the Origin of Spirit back to Vallendar at the 23rd WHU Euromasters from November 7-9, 2019.

Professor Dr. Markus Rudolf welcomes the participants to WHU Euromasters 2019

WHU Euromasters is Europe's largest sports event for business schools and this year it invited more than 2000 students from 24 business schools from more than ten countries to Vallendar. The participants took part in sporting competitions in disciplines such as basketball, volleyball, and soccer in the CGM Arena in Koblenz-Oberwerth, and rowing and relay races on the Rhine in Vallendar.

After a successful premiere of the e-sports discipline last year, a FIFA Tournament was once again on screen this year. Further highlights of the event were the mascot competition and the cheerleading contest. For the first time there was an alumni cheerleading team consisting of seven business schools. At the Speeddating and the accompanying career fair, the participants were able to exchange ideas with representatives of international companies next to the sports field.

Since 1997, WHU Euromasters has been hosted by WHU students who create an unforgettable sporting event every year. A team of 30 WHU students plans and prepares a whole year for the sporting event; from sponsoring to shuttle transfer to the arena and the party locations to the accommodation of the guests with the students from Vallendar - everything has been carefully planned.
