On September 24, WHU students and entrepreneurs from the TechnologieZentrum Koblenz (TZK) engaged in a speed dating event.
First, Lucas Weiper (CEO of GoContract) and Maximilian Weigel (CEO of Blocklink) presented their existing plans to disrupt existing markets with new business models. Subsequently, several speed dating sessions were organized. WHU students, who are working on their own project in the course Developing Novel Business models, shared their current business model canvas with the entrepreneurs, who provided feedback and suggestions from their own experiences and expertise. The event successfully closed with a pizza networking opportunity. Professor Dries Faems, coordinator of the course at WHU, and Jan Hagge, CEO of TZK Koblenz, both expressed their enthusiasm: “This event does not only give students an unique opportunity to learn from experienced entrepreneurs, but it also allows strengthening the ties between WHU and the local entrepreneurial ecosystem.”
