In the recently published QS World University Ranking 2020, the three study programs Master in Management, Master in Finance, and MBA at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management were ranked in three sub-rankings. WHU, whose Master's programs were again honored as the best in Germany, was ranked 13th in the QS Masters in Management Ranking and 22nd in the QS Masters in Finance Ranking. In the QS MBA ranking, WHU achieved 66th place in a global comparison.
"We are very pleased that our Master's programs have been recognized as leading German programs in the QS Masters in Management and the QS Masters in Finance Ranking," explains Professor Dr. Markus Rudolf, Dean at WHU. "The improvement of the three rankings reflects WHU's ongoing commitment to excellence in management education."
In both the QS Masters in Management Ranking 2020 and the QS MBA Ranking 2020, WHU climbed three places and took place 13 out of 129 study programs worldwide in the QS Masters in Management Ranking, and place 66 out of 240 study programs in the QS MBA Ranking. The Business School achieved excellent results in the categories "Alumni Outcomes" and "Return on Investment."
The QS Masters in Finance Ranking 2020 ranked WHU’s Master in Finance program 22nd out of a total of 156 programs globally. The program achieved remarkable results in the categories “Alumni Outcomes,” “Thought Leadership,” “Value for Money,” and “Employability.”
The QS World University Rankings 2020 ranked the Master's programs according to five criteria: "Employability," "Alumni Outcomes," "Value for Money," "Thought Leadership," and "Diversity." The MBA programs were divided into five categories: “Employability”, “Entrepreneurship & Alumni Success”, and “Return on Investment”, “Thought Leadership”, and “Diversity.” The QS World University Ranking with its three partial rankings was published for the third time this year.
