25 Bachelor's students of WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management had the pleasure of being officially admitted at a ceremony to the newly introduced Dean's List.
The list, which originates from the Anglo-American world, is designed to promote those talents who stand out through the most excellent performance in their year. "Marks are an important indicator, but are not the only decisive factor", explained dean Professor Markus Rudolf at the celebrations. Further criteria are that students do not exceed the estimated time for the Bachelor’s degree and have reached the necessary amount of credit points. With their inclusion on the Dean's List, the 25 sixth-semester Bachelor's students received a certificate together with a gratuity. This allows them to study a master's semester at WHU free of charge. The appreciation is also intended to help motivate students with outstanding achievements to take up the Master's program at WHU. From now on, the Dean's List will be updated every year for those Bachelor students who are about to complete their thesis.
