For the fourth time already, WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management supported the Digital Leader Award from a scientific point of view.
The competition, initiated by IDG Deutschland, Computerwoche, CIO and Dimension Data Germany, has the motto "Leadership in the Digital Age" and honors corporate leaders and leadership personalities who shape the digital transformation in their companies in an exemplary manner.
An interdisciplinary jury had the task of selecting award winners from almost 100 applications in the categories Society, Culture, Strategy, Startup and Product. Prof. Dr. Christian Schlereth was again in the jury as scientific partner of the Digital Leader Award. The award ceremony took place on June 27 in Berlin and Christian Schlereth handed over the special prize to the winner Stabilo for their EduPen. "Digitalization is also about creating new insights into human behavior. This winning project is about capturing writing motor skills in order to give educators the opportunity to individually support their pupils in their writing skills," says Schlereth.
In fall 2019, WHU will be offering a special Executive Education Program for executives from the non-profit sector who want to further develop their own skills in the field of digital transformation.
