FT MiM Ranking: WHU ranked #7 worldwide

In the Financial Times Masters in Management Ranking published today, WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management ranked seventh in a global comparison, making it the best German business school once again.

Compared to 2016, WHU improved by two places and garnered particularly outstanding ratings in several areas. The Career Service at WHU was ranked in second place worldwide. In the "Salary three years after graduation" category, WHU alumni again garnered fifth place in an international comparison. In addition, the average yearly income increased and now accounts for 106.172 Dollars. 96 percent of WHU graduates were already in employment within three months of completing their studies. In the "Aims achieved" ranking category, which captures the extent to which alumni fulfilled their goals or reasons for doing a Masters in Management, WHU reached a first-place ranking.

The Financial Times included 90 universities in its 2016 list of the best performers, and this year the competition was carried out among 95 universities. “Facing increasing competition, it is praise and incentive that we managed to even outrank our excellent result from 2016" Professor Dr. Markus Rudolf, Dean of WHU, pointed out. According to Rudolf, the business school will not rely on its achievements but continue to constantly advance the study programs as well as its scientific work.

The Financial Times Masters in Management Ranking assesses programs toward the Master's degree for students without significant professional experience. The data compiled are based on extensive questionnaires completed by both graduates and universities. As a consecutive program in economics, the Master of Science program at WHU is intended for particularly qualified holders of Bachelor's degrees in economics who would like to work in an international setting. The program builds upon the fundamentals of knowledge students have already covered while offering strong practical relevance at the same time. Thanks to optimum study conditions, candidates can complete their degree within approximately one and a half years. WHU also offers a Master in Entrepreneurship as well as a Master in Finance.
