Beste Kooperation zwischen Handel und Industrie

Das Preisgeld in Höhe von 20.000 Euro ging an Prof. Dr. Arnd Huchzermeier für die Preiskategorie ‚Beste Kooperation zwischen Handel und Industrie‘. Die Jury der Akademischen Partnerschaft, begründen die Auswahl des Siegers wie folgt: „Mit Ihrer hochkarätigen sowohl wissenschaftlichen wie auch praxisorientierten Forschungsarbeit geben Sie Handel und Industrie wichtige Impulse und konkrete Handlungsanleitungen zur Gestaltung einer zukunftsorientierten und kooperativen Wertschöpfungskette an die Hand.“

Das neu entwickelte Promotionmanagementmodell – für Verkehrsbringer wie Pampers von Procter & Gamble, die regelmäßig und mit erheblichem Discount verkauft werden  – basiert auf mehreren Kundensegmenten, d.h. loyale und nicht loyale Kunden, die sich größtenteils während Promotions bevorraten. Um eine exakte Prognose der Nachfrage zu erzielen, werden die Bestände der Haushalte geschätzt. Die Nachfrage ergibt sich dann als Differenz zwischen der maximalen Nachfrage bei einem gegebenem Promotionspreis und den geschätzten Haushaltsvorräten. Der Lehrstuhl hat eine ganze Serie an wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten zu Preispromotionen publiziert und arbeitet derzeit an einem Forschungsprojekt intensiv mit dem Handelsunternehmen real,- zusammen.

In the context of the "Herbsttagung der Kommission Produktionswirtschaft" of the "Verband der Hochschullehrer für Betriebswirtschaft (VHB)", a presentation held by Dipl.-Math. Michael Schmälzle and Professor Dr. Arnd Huchzermeier took place on November 8th, 2013.
