On December 8th Dr. Philip Köhler, Global Sales Manager at Bosch eBike Systems, gave an insightful guest lecture entitled “From Start-Up to Market Leader: How Market Research Helps Making Better Decisions” as part of our MSc course “Actionable Customer Analytics”.
He provided in-depth insights into the business model of Bosch eBikes and presented important elements of data-driven market research in the eBike business. The course participants especially appreciated his notes on using Google Trends for prediction purposes and applying conjoint analyses to optimize product development and pricing. Finally, he stressed the importance of communicating data-driven insights within the organization and tailoring one’s presentation approach to the respective audience.
