The high quality of our learning concept was recently confirmed by the Financial Times Global MBA ranking 2018, which placed us as the best German business school for career services, program internationality, and student satisfaction.

The 12-month Full-Time MBA Program, offering both September and April intakes, gives you the opportunity to immerse yourself in an intensive learning experience and quickly reap the benefits of your new knowledge and skills.

Before the program start, you will have the opportunity to attend online preparation courses that aim to refresh your knowledge of mathematics and statistics and introduce the basics of economics.

The first five months of the program comprise mandatory core modules that provide a solid foundation in basic management concepts and core organizational functions.

  1. Understanding Financial Performance (Managerial Finance, Financial Accounting, The World Economy)
  2. Exploiting Market Opportunities (Marketing, Corporate Finance, Economics of Corporate and Competitive Strategy)
  3. Managing in the Organization (Operations Management, Strategic Sourcing, Management Accounting)

These are advanced courses that allows you to focus deeper on Strategy and Organization, Marketing & Sales, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and Advanced Finance build on the knowledge obtained in the core modules.

The MBA programs include three residential weeks, two in Asia and one in the US. The Asia modules, which take place in China and India, focus on the chances, challenges, and risks of doing business in emerging markets. Senior faculty members of the following renowned partner schools deliver specialist lectures covering sensitive issues relevant to the local business environments:

India:
Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, India
China Europe International Business School, Shanghai, China

China:
Fudan University, Shanghai, China

The modules includes visits to traditional local companies and innovation hubs, foreign companies, and joint ventures, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of these emerging markets and a practical and real-world perspective.

The US module is a tailor-made executive education program in partnership with Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, Evanston (near Chicago), USA, one of the leading business schools in the US. Kellogg’s top faculty members provide expert insight into management education’s latest hot topics.

A variety of engaging Management Practice Workshops supplement the program’s thorough academic curriculum. The workshops focus on current key business practices and are taught by subject experts and coaches in the respective areas.

Students embark on a personal development journey throughout the duration of the MBA, with all aspects of their education designed to help them better know themselves, learn how to lead and how to be led. Group work, reflections and leadership challenges ensure their capabilities are pushed to the limit and give them the chance to hone their interpersonal and communication skills. This module is integrated and ingrained in the fibers of the curriculum.

The Final MBA Project can take the form of a business-plan, research paper, or a report written in cooperation with a company while completing an internship. Undertaken either independently or in a group, the result should demonstrate an ability to focus on solving a problem by applying the research method and the management knowledge acquired throughout the MBA. The project is supervised by a faculty member and can be done during the elective phase of the program, except in the case of the company-related project and internship which takes place after all modules are completed.
