  • This German upper intermediate and advanced course seeks to develop listening, reading and writing skills and strongly emphasizes communication. Communication will be stressed at all times and developed through classroom activities and small group activities such as role-plays, discussions, dialogues etc.
  • The course covers important grammar topics of the B2+C1 level (e.g. subjunctive II, verbs with prepositions, subordinated clauses)
  • Learning to analyze and discuss cultural and political topics of Germany and to compare them with your own cultural background
  • To learn and speak about historical events in Germany
  • To analyze and interpret current economic topics by reading/listening to news
  • You will prepare a 10-15minute oral presentation. It is important that you speak freely rather than reading the oral presentation and that you involve the other students afterwards in a discussion about the topic of your presentation.
