Science meets Business sessions

A unique, interactive format that bridges academic research and industry practice to outline urgent challenges and draft high-impact solutions. Participants will have the opportunity to join one of four parallel sessions per round. The first round will explore strategic horizons, while the second will take a closer look at the operational realities of future-proof road and air freight. Each session will be co-moderated by a selected researcher and practitioner, both chosen for their specific expertise in the field.

The format is highly participatory: Short impulses will introduce promising practical solutions and state-of-the-art research, setting the stage for a lively exchange of experiences and perspectives amongst all participants. Each session will prioritize opportunities for joint industry-academia collaboration. The key outcomes from all sessions will be captured and presented back to the plenary, and will also be documented and shared with all participants after the summit.
