Course content
Academic Writing: An analysis of the formal written style and the requirements necessary for writing a seminar paper or thesis in English. The course will look at academic language, sentence structure, paragraphing as well as the formal presentation of the paper, including citations, footnotes and reference lists.
Business English: In this semester students will activate their Business English skills in the fields of negotiations and intercultural awareness with the help of case study analysis, business simulations, negotiations, video clips and texts on general business topics. In this way students will expand their business skills in English, widen their vocabulary and continue to improve their fluency in spoken English.
