Spanish I, A2, group 1

The course is aimed at students without any previous knowledge. In the course of the semester we will deal with the basics of the language and develop communication skills. In addition to material which will be distributed in class, we will work with the first chapters of a new course book (will be announced soon). The topics that are covered mainly stem from everyday situations. During the semester, however, business-related topics will become more important.
Attention will be paid in particular to the following topics:

a) Grammar:

• Present tense (regular and irregular forms; reflexive verbs)
• Use of "ser" and "estar"
• Question words (qué, quién, cuándo, dónde, de dónde, adónde, cómo)
• Accusative and dative cases
• Pronouns
• Prepositions

b) Oral expression:
Communicating in everyday situations.

Any changes in the programme will be announced at the beginning of the course.
