Course content
Spanish Semester I, B1 (intermediate)
Principal aim of the first semester is to improve the writing, oral and intercultural language capabilities. By business-orientated exercises the students will acquire technical vocabulary. Cases of Spanish or Latin-American corporations will be analysed as well as such from the daily world of work.
Attention will be given to the following grammatical forms as well as to business-related topics:
a) Grammar:
Presentation of a Latin-American country or a Spanish region (max. 15 minutes).

- Introduction to the "Subjuntivo"
- Curriculum vitae and letter of application
- Reading and analysis of economic texts taken from the book by Schnitzer/Martí (Chapter: "Aspectos generales")
Presentation of a Latin-American country or a Spanish region (max. 15 minutes).
